Bobbi Starr was a band geek in high school and attended San Jose State on a music scholarship as an oboist. She is a native California girl who grew up in an upper middle class suburb of San Jose. Admittedly, she was curious even in her formative years experimenting with both boys and girls. She documented many of her experiences in journals she kept. While in college, she worked as both a nanny and a librarian of the music department where she claims to have had sex in every room of the building. Shortly after graduating, she was introduced to the guys at Kink.com and she knew at that time she found her true calling.

In 2008, Bobbi won CAVR Starlet of the Year and garnered a few AVN award nominations as well. For the 2009 AVN awards, Bobbi was nominated for a eye-popping 18 AVN awards including Female Performer of the Year. It wasn't till 2010 that Bobbi finally took home an AVN award though, walking away with trophies for Best Double Penetration Scene and Most Outrageous Sex Scene at the 2010 AVN Awards. She is also prominently featured in the Best Foreign All-Sex Release award winner, Bobbi Violates Europe.

Of her first AVN awards Bobbie said: "These are my first AVN Award wins and since I've made my name doing over-the-top scenes trophies for Best Double Penetration Sex Scene and Most Outrageous Sex Scene seem fitting," she said. "I had a great time in Vegas meeting my fans and signing for Evil Angel. I can't wait for the next Adult Entertainment Expo."
